Each painting in this series highlights the locations of women's shelters in gentrifying areas of Brooklyn. The geometry of each painting is based upon a map of each site, and the palette is informed by the colors of shelter interiors, feelings of blight and hope.

​

These pieces were made specifically to raise money for the Tillary Street Women's shelter and 100% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing basic necessities for the  200 women who live there.
